Acevedo's Custom Fencing & Flooring
Full backyard privacy with a clean, solid look. We build standard solid board fences and board-on-board
(overlapping pickets, no gaps). Add-ons include top cap & trim, metal posts,
and kickboards to protect the bottom.
We handle new installs and full privacy fence replacement for storm damage or aging fences.
Semi-Privacy styles include spaced horizontal and shadowbox, which allow for more light and airflow while still maintaining a good amount of privacy.
Lattice top is an addition to your fence that adds decorative style. It can be added to most styles of wood fence and is available in a variety of patterns.
Classic front-yard look with good visibility. Can be cut dog-ear, gothic top, or other profiles to match your home or HOA.
Ranch rail fencing uses horizontal rails (2-rail, 3-rail, 4-rail) to define
property lines, guide livestock, and keep a clear view. Split rail gives a
rustic, open country look.

A more rugged look, post-and-rail styles are common in large stretches of land along the countryside.
Western Red Cedar is the gold standard for residential privacy fencing: stable, beautiful grain, naturally resistant to rot and insects, and it takes stain beautifully. Best for long-term curb appeal.
Cedar alternatives (Japanese Cedar, Northern White Cedar, Incense Cedar) are also naturally insect-resistant and are a great balance of look, durability, and value. Excellent for full privacy builds.
Spruce and fir (including Rightwood, Rightwood Plus, Altamit, and premium treated pickets) are cost-effective, easy to install, and ideal for rental properties, large perimeters, or when budget matters most.
Southern Yellow Pine and Red Pine can be pressure-treated for strength. Great for posts and structural members that contact the ground.
Certain species are better for split rail, post-and-rail, and ranch rail.
We’ll recommend the best option for acreage and pasture fencing in West

Cedar is one of the most popular choices because it naturally resists insects, decay, and warping while providing a beautiful appearance that works well with staining and sealing. Learn more on our Wood styles and species page.
A professionally installed and maintained wood fence can last 15–25 years or more depending on the wood species, weather exposure, and maintenance schedule.
